Our Story
The idea for Everly began the moment we held our son for the first time. Like many new parents, we were filled with wonder and a desire to remember everything! We both had some sort of baby memory book growing up, lovingly filled out by our mothers… So when our son was born we wanted to give him the same gift of tangible memories.
P.S. If you’re new to this, a baby memory book (or baby journal) is a keepsake book to capture your baby’s milestones, memories, and moments from birth to toddlerhood.
We ordered a baby book… but it was full of typos, generic prompts, and pages that felt more like homework than memories. We gave up halfway and realized other parents felt the same: too much pressure, too many stats, and not enough hati ya know?
We couldn’t find a baby memory book in Malaysia that felt just right. More than just a record, we hoped for a book that felt more real…one that didn’t just document milestones, but captured the moments in between (we’re reminded of all the silly quirks and the everyday chaos and joy). It had to reflect our local Malaysian culture, the kind of childhood memories we grew up with like Hari Raya, the pasar malam and durians!
After months of planning and designing, Everly was born the same year our son was!
This is more than just a book. Its a keepsake and a gentle reminder that every moment matters. We created Everly for ourselves, and now, we share it with you. From our family to yours. May your pages be filled with laughter, love, and all the beautifully ordinary moments that make up your story.
